Review: The Inheritance: Part V by Olivia Mayfield

When Andrew finally comes clean to Maggie, their relationship grows stronger than ever. But with a fortune still hanging in the balance and Cassandra’s mystery still unsolved, the surprises in Olivia Mayfield’s The Inheritance are just beginning…

The Inheritance, Part V
The Confrontation
Maggie is sure that Robert knows more about their sister’s disappearance than he’s letting on. Finally convinced of Andrew’s honesty, she agrees to confront her family with him at her side. But the Willings have far more skeletons in their closet than either Maggie or Andrew suspected.

After a tearful confession from her mother and a shocking admission from Bethany, Maggie cannot believe that Robert is the one with the most secrets to spill. But when the truth about Cassandra is finally revealed, the reality is more shocking than Maggie ever imagined…

This serial is starting to heat up! So much happened in these 52 pages my head is still spinning! An old love is rekindled, a mother’s indiscretion is revealed and Maggie’s brother makes a horrible confession no one saw coming. I was surprised myself. Will this confession absolve Robert, and others, of past transgressions, or will this absolution come with deadly consequences?

I am afraid I have revealed too much so I will say no more. Thankfully there is only one part left and we can finally find out: what happened to Cassandra; who will get the inheritance money; will Maggie and Andrew truly have a chance together; or will no one survive the backlash? We’ll find out what happens next week!

If you haven’t had a chance to check this serial out, I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel. The plot is strong, the mystery reveals more secrets along the way and nobody comes away unscathed. Read it!

I was gifted an eBook copy from the publisher via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. All conclusions reached are my own.

This serial is also available combined (Books 1-6) in one eBook HERE.
