A hockey romance burns up the ice in the third sexy Need You novel from the New York Times bestselling author of the Mastered Series and the Blacktop Cowboys® Series.

PR agent Annika Lund can spin any disaster into a win. But revamping the reputation of a notorious Swedish hockey player will take every trick in her arsenal, especially when his agent insists that convincing everyone he’s no longer a playboy is top priority. And that it requires a sham relationship—with Annika playing the part of loving girlfriend.

On fire in the rink and in the bedroom, Axl Hammerquist couldn’t care less about being anyone’s golden boy. So when his agent forces him to play nice with a new publicist, he takes satisfaction in being as much of a pain as possible. But the more time he spends getting to know Annika, the more Axl starts to think that being Mr. Nice Guy might be worth it if it gets him the girl...

Marie's Thoughts

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lorelei James! She’s one of my absolute favorite authors, and she doesn’t disappoint with All You Need.

Annika and Axl are a perfect match for one another. They have amazing chemistry, they’re both extremely hard-headed, and they both have a desire for one another that eventually leads them to give in to their inevitable romance.

Ms. James does a masterful job of writing this story, unfolding a cute, sexy and sweet romance set to a hockey player theme. *cue the swooning* She makes it easy to fall in love with the bad boy, Axl, and to cheer on the alpha female in Annika. I just can’t get enough of these books!

This book works as a standalone, but I would highly recommend reading the first books of the series, simply because they’re so well written.

I voluntarily read a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and feelings are my own.

Single mom and aspiring perfectionist Becca Johnston is determined to be the next mayor of Cupid's Bow, Texas. She can't afford distractions like her new tenant, rugged rodeo champ Sawyer McCall. Having a good man around the house means so much to her young son, and Becca is definitely enjoying the handsome cowboy's attention. But the election is too important to risk scandalous town gossip.

Sawyer only planned on staying in Cupid's Bow long enough to help with the upcoming centennial celebration, but with Becca and her son, he's finally found home. When she treats him like he's a dirty little secret, hiding him from her voters and her son, Sawyer is crushed. How can he convince her that love is the one thing she can't control?

My Thoughts

In the previous books in the series, Becca is portrayed quite stiffly. She’s the woman in town that you love to hate. She’s organized, in control and overtly bossy, but she gets results. Now that she has her own book, I find that I’ve seriously misjudged Becca. As I got to know her better and delve into her backstory, I found a kindred spirit. We are more alike than I thought, which made it so easy to relate to her. I found myself cheering for her all the way through!

Sawyer is a fly by the seat of your pants kind of cowboy. He’s a smooth talkin’ charmer with a smile to sin for. I thought he’d be a bunny buckle chasin’ superficial cocky jerk, breezing by life on his good looks and sweet Texas drawl. I’m so glad I was wrong… or that meeting the RIGHT woman had the power to change it. Sawyer made me fall for him just like all the other ladies in the book. He completely won me over in his treatment of Becca’s son and with his animal rescue skills. I couldn’t have asked for a better hero.

I absolutely loved the book! Every time I visit the small town of Cupid’s Bow, it’s just like coming home! I encourage everyone to pick up the series! You won’t be disappointed!
